Jakare is a 30-meter, 5-cabin vessel capable of accommodating up to 12 passengers. It unquestionably offers one of the best value-for-money options for those seeking a diving cruise in Indonesia. THE BOAT
The cruise boat offers high-end services (all cabins are equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom) and has many spacious common areas, which makes it a very friendly boat and perfectly suited for small groups or families with children.
The Jakaré has a large Solarium (upper deck), a rest area (rear deck), a dedicated diving area (front deck), a Yoga area, a dining room, a relaxation area with comfortable bean bags (ideal for reading time) and even a private deck at the back conveniently facilitating bathing directly from the boat.
The common area on the main deck aft comprises a large shaded and naturally ventilated dining area with a lounge. With its 360° vue on the surroundings, it is the ideal location for quiet moment / naps between activities.

SUN DECK
The sundeck is more than just a place to soak up the sun. It’s a versatile space that caters to a variety of leisure activities. With breathtaking views of the Indonesian seas as your backdrop, it’s the perfect spot for morning yoga sessions. Start your day with a sun salutation as the first rays of light illuminate the tranquil waters, or wind down with a relaxing yoga routine as the day draws to a close.
The sundeck also provides an unrivaled vantage point for witnessing the awe-inspiring spectacle of an ocean sunrise or sunset. Imagine starting your day with the sight of the sun slowly rising from the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Or, end your day with the tranquil sight of the sun setting, casting a warm glow over the calm ocean waters.
As the day turns into night, the sundeck transforms into the perfect spot for bat viewing. Watch in awe as these fascinating creatures take flight in the twilight, adding a touch of magic to the evening.

CABINS
Each cabin is equipped with an adjoining bathroom, air conditioning, and ample storage space, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for our guests.
We offer two standard front cabins, “Banggai 1 & 2”. Each of these cabins is furnished with a spacious single bed measuring 120 cm and an additional single bed of 85 cm. These cabins are perfect for those seeking a cozy and comfortable retreat.
For guests seeking a more luxurious experience, we have two premium central cabins, “Lotus 1 & 2”. Each of these cabins features a double bed of 140 cm and a single bed of 80 cm, offering a blend of comfort and elegance.
Our most exclusive accommodation is the “Dewi Sri”, a premium aft cabin. This cabin boasts a double bed of 150 cm and features a unique and beautiful wooden deck that provides direct access to the turquoise waters. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a touch of luxury and a direct connection with the sea.

LOUNGE AND DINING AREA
Jakaré’s rear deck serves as a rest area, offering a tranquil space for quiet moments or naps between activities. We also have a dedicated diving area on the front deck and a Yoga area for those who wish to maintain their wellness routines while on board.
Our dining room is located in a large shaded area on the main deck aft. This naturally ventilated space offers a 360° view of the surroundings, making it an ideal location for meals and socializing. Adjacent to the dining area is a lounge, complete with comfortable bean bags, perfect for relaxation or reading time.
Finally, the Jakaré features a private deck at the back, conveniently facilitating bathing directly from the boat. This unique feature allows our guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the Indonesian waters.
WHAT MATTERS TO US
The Jakaré boat took shape in South Sulawesi from 2015 to 2017. Despite the considerable challenges that naturally arise during such an endeavor, our deepest appreciation stems from the human connections forged: the companionship with HJ Puga and his skilled family, who crafted the vessel, and the heartfelt embrace of the entire Tanah Beru community.
Our profound environmental awareness drives us, and we recognize that certain exceptional woods, like ironwood, are sourced in ways that are neither sustainable nor lasting.
Our meticulous efforts were dedicated to constructing a boat with a lifespan surpassing a century, a remarkable feat given that typical traditional boats only endure for 10 to 20 years.
Each construction phase was meticulously aligned with this longevity objective. Wood was dried for over a year before the building process commenced, and the assembly eschewed nails and limited screws in favor of durable rot-resistant wooden pegs. Our commitment extends to yearly maintenance, involving thorough inspections, repairs if necessary, and a fresh coat of paint to ensure the boat remains in prime condition.
